CONSIDER THIS
For 2000 years, Jesus has called us to "be ready" for His second coming, Mt 24:14, 44, and to belong to the only group of people "who shall be able to stand," Mal 3:2; Lk 21:36; Rev 6:17.
From October 22, 1844 on, the global Day of Atonement has long given great urgency to God's call. We have personally answered and seriously presented it since 2002. In recent years, it has become more pressing than ever before.

Both personal and corporate preparation are essential for God's remnant church to "arise and shine", Isa 60:1-2; Da 12:3; Mt 5:14-16. "Those who wait for the Bridegroom's coming are to say to the people, 'Behold your God.' The last rays of merciful light, the last message of mercy to be given to the world, is a revelation of His character of love." COL 415. "Then He will come." COL 69.

We need to cooperate with God. "If we do what we can on our part to be ready for the conflict that is just before us, God will do His part, and his all powerful arm will protect us." EW 262.

You ask, What does Jesus' call to "be ready" mean and involve? The Word of God, supported by the Spirit of Prophecy, is our authoritative source.
"If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." Jn 8:32
WE TRAIN ON THREE LEVELS
God needs His people to "be ready" on three levels according to the spiritual, mental and physical natures of our being. "Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind." Mt 22:37. "I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ." 1 Th 5:23. God wants to save the whole person.
We offer pertinent training for urgent ministry on the same three levels. Jesus is our pattern, CE 241. He "went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people." Mt 9:35. He is still calling His followers to do the same in His mighty name and power, Mt 10:7-14; Lk 10:1-16.
